The Indiana Economic Development Corporation recognized Complexus Medical as one of nine Michiana businesses selected for its 2013 “Companies to Watch” list.
The program honors privately held companies with 6–150 employees and annual revenue or capital between $750,000 and $100 million. The other eight honored businesses included ATC Trailers, Integrative Flavors, Kessler Crane Inc., Royal Excursion, Sportula Products, StrataShops, Union Station Technology Center, and EmNet.
According to Eric Doden, IEDC president: “With the spark of a great idea, the ingenuity to develop solutions and the determination to achieve success” — these firms exemplify marketplace distinction.
The 33 businesses on the statewide list were projected to generate nearly 350 jobs across manufacturing, life sciences, and technology sectors, with combined revenue anticipated to increase by approximately $220 million annually.
An awards ceremony honoring the recipients took place August 22 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis. The Edward Lowe Foundation of Cassopolis developed the program.
